John has been a member of WPRFC for over 35 years and has been a vice president for more than 25 years. Over that time he has held different jobs including Gents and 5th team captain, second team manager, Colts team manager along with a number of other responsibilities.

More recently he has been President at our near neighbours, Swanley RFC, where he was instrumental in setting up the club from scratch and has helped them in their project to develop Swanley's facilities. I know it was wrench for John to leave Swanley and the experience and expertise he has gained from his time there will greatly benefit Combe.

Finally, I am sure that you will want me to pass on our thanks to Fraser Thomson whose time as President coincided not only with the Covid pandemic but also with health challenges of his own. Fraser has been a trusty source of information and support to me and the management team at Combe. I am sure he will continue to offer that support over the coming seasons.
